Pens!

I thought those of you who enjoy my artwork might find it interesting if I reviewed a few pens since I do so much pen and ink stuff these days.  My very favorite pen right now is the Uniball Signo Bit .18  It's super fine great for getting those teeny weenie dots and lines, and it's very water resistant so I can easily colorize my pieces with watercolor or ink after I've done the pen work.  My next used pen is probably the Signo RT .38 or the Pilot Drawing pen, they're fatter, but perfect for making bold outlines and such.  The pilot drawing pen is a lot like a Pigma Micron, but with the microns, I tend to bend the nib or squish it in before I end up using all the ink in it so I prefer the Pilot Drawing pen as it can take more pressure.  I really like the Hi-tec-C .25 and the Signo DX .28 but their ink is not very waterproof so I have to use them last if I am doing a piece that requires ink/watercolor washes.....

Oh yeah... many of these pens are not sold at your local office supply store cause they only really sell them in japan (with the exclution of the Signo RT, you can find that most places, oh.. and the micron is quite common as well)  A great place to look for the harder to find ones is www.jetpens.com their service is great and they have tons of hard to find pens in an assortment of crazy colors.. The shipping has always been very speedy to.  Anyway, enough blabbering on about pens........ for now.....

Cool shit Poxodd. Thanks for letting everyone in on the tools of your twisted but cool imagination. Looking forward to your next batch of pieces.
